Yes I have also heard about this sad story,the museum was incredible and apparently Robert Taylor had been trying for 20 years to obtain the necessary permissions to open such a museum. He had to gain special import licences for all the firearms and spent so much of his money on this project . Sorry to say I have heard these stories so many times from friends who lived and worked in Vietnam, that so many Vietnames women are lethal .. all sweetness and light in the beginning and then they turn into demons,espcially when they come from poor backgrounds.. all they see are $$$$ signs.

If you wish to buy apartment in Vietnam you should satisfy the following criteria:
- have labor contract for 1 year and more with local or foreigner company registered in Vietnam
- have temporary residence card or long term business visa
- live in country more then 180 days
All above mentioned conditions are not required if you are married to Vietnamese citizen or have Vietnam government awards.
You can buy apartment for personal use only (cannot rent to someone)… its by law, but actually you can..
You cannot sell apartment during first two years
