“XVIII National Youth Bicycling Сhampionship” organized by the “Department of Sport and Tourism” in collaboration with provincial “Bicycle Federation” and “Vietnam Motorcycle Club” has started in Vung Tau at 26 of June, 2012.
150 young athletes (men and women from 16 to 18 years old) and 10 teams participated in this tournament to ride distance from 20 to 40 kilometers depending on age and gender.
Athletes competed at the contents at age of 16 years or younger and age of 17-18.
Participating teams: An Giang, Bình Dương, Dược Domesco Đồng Tháp, Đống Đa Hà Nội, Vĩnh Long, Quân Đội, TP HCM, Thanh Hóa, Hòa Bình, Sơn La.

1st place: An Giang team – favorite: Pham Thi Nguyet (number 37) ,
2nd place: Ha Noi team – favorite Peter Vo Thi Kim Cuc (number 22),
3d place: An Giang team
