A petition was signed by 18 members of the provincial Tourism Association to the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Peoples Committee and the City Committee of the Party on the construction of the Back Beach to get a more clean and more safe beach.
The petition asserts that to build Back Beach of Vung Tau city into a clean and safe beach, it needs to invite foreign consultants to advise re-planning for tourism products; specific action to change status of unfair business; set the standard model to build and evaluate clean and safe beaches, quality services, security, public order and rescue work.
Enterprises also proposed to form attractive, diversified tourism products consistent with the strength of the province, select and hold annual tourism events such as the annual tourist beach volleyball, International Festival of Gastronomy, sailing boats, kites, parachute; organize management model for Thuy Van beach (from Thang Muoi hotel to Phan Chu Trinh street) to be a civilized and modern beach; organize Back Beach area to be an international beach resort.
